Zanifa Omary is a PhD Research Student at the School of Computing, Dublin Institute of Technology, Dublin, Ireland. She is working towards PhD research project titled "Design and Development of a Framework for Securing e-healthcare information" under the supervision of Dr. Fredrick J. Mtenzi and Dr. Bing Wu.
She holds Master of Science (Honours) in Computing from the Dublin Institute of Technology and Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from the Institute of Finance Management in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
She is a full-time employee (Assistant Lecturer) of the Institute of Finance Management under the Computing and Information Technology (CIT) Department. She also works as a part-time Assistant Lecturer at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
She is an active member of the Ubiquitous Computing Research Group (UCRG) at the School of Computing, Dublin Institute of Technology where she is a leading researcher in e-healthcare
Her research interests are in the area of information systems security particularly e-healthcare information systems. Her other areas of interest in research are in Machine learning, Data Mining, Serious Games and Green Computing.
